Spelling guidelines

The syllables starting with p, k- or a vowel can only occur word-initial.

Accents and stress

In uninflected nouns, the stress falls on the penultimate syllable, unless the word is of the form VCV: in this case, the stress is on the last syllable. See the grammar for more details.
